Dayhan Hotel Restoration
Reviving the Past.
The Dayhan Hotel in Ashgabat stands as an iconic example of the city’s architectural heritage, originally constructed during the Soviet era in the 1960s. This historic structure has undergone a comprehensive restoration and repurposing, blending its distinctive, heritage-protected facade with a thoroughly modernized interior program.
The restoration project was conceived with the dual goals of preserving the building’s iconic exterior while ushering in a new era of luxury, innovation, and experiential design within. This challenge was met through an accurate redesign, transforming the once-utilitarian spaces into a vibrant, mixed-use destination.
Meticulously designed, the ground floor of the Dayhan Hotel now houses a curated collection of luxury brand shops, boutiques, and gourmet dining establishments. The once-utilitarian spaces have been reimagined as vibrant, inviting environments that cater to the discerning tastes of the modern consumer.
At the heart of the project lies a stunning, open-air Italian-style patio square, complete with lush landscaping and a serene ambiance. This dynamic public space serves as a gathering point, fostering a sense of community and seamlessly integrating the various commercial and hospitality offerings.
Meticulously designed to maximize the connection between indoor and outdoor living, the villa features expansive balconies and terraces that provide ample opportunities for residents to immerse themselves in the tranquil beauty of the Yalkym landscape. These seamless transitions between the home and its natural surroundings foster a deep sense of serenity and well-being.Azat SaryLalya Han-UseinovaArslan AkhmedovDesign Team.
